If you want to go on the cheap find a local Farrier they generally don't wear there's out.If he's not a cheap skate he will give them to you.

I have one of those farrier's rasp that Clint gave me. It's heavy and sharp and will remove wood(and knuckle skin) off easily.

I bought a safe egde online, god is it ever sharp.

Be careful with that Roy.  You can rasp a hinge in a bow real quick.
