heres my first knife as well as my first sheath. turned out nice and holds the knife in really well.  


i hope this helps and good luck i learned that the leath is almost as tought to work with as the metal.

What weight leather is most appropriate for small to mid size knives? 8oz? I am making knive but dont have any leather or leather tools to make sheaths with ... yet.

I make most of mine with 8-9oz leather.
