I hate bow mounted quivers..so I mounted the smallest kwikee quiver (using the factory bracket) to a collapsible aluminum walking stick..I put on an adjustable and removable (using rifle sling swivels)light weight nylon rifle sling.I can use it as a walking stick quiver or throw it over my shoulder as a back quiver.Works for me ,and I think it's as safe as any other way to carry your arrows. I've had two back surgeries so I find it works great .It's also handy when you are set up and want to have your arrows within easy reach.

Sounds like a neat idea. Got a pic of that contraption?

I'd like to see it too, 8 knee operations so far. I always use walking sticks.

no camera available..I mounted the kwikee bracket to another bracket (fabricated by me)so the quiver can be easily removed.I put a layer of soft rubber under the brackets and (believe it or not)used zip ties to secure the home made bracket to the "stony point (tm)" walking stick; hasn't moved a bit.Used it in some rough country on an elk hunt here in CO.I  found it pretty easy to maneuver through some thick cover where a back quiver or hip quiver wouldn't work as well.By using a removable bracket; I didn't have to drill the walking stick and chance ruining it (in case it didn't work out)
