I'm not sure but most of you guys and gals  most likely use google earth for scouting. Just click on maps, keep double clicking on the state and area you want then click topo or photo. Now try YellowPages.com, look up top Maps&Directions click on that then basicly do the same as google. Then hit the Birdseye view, WOW you can just about see the deer walking around in the woods. I noticed it's not totally up dated but the stuff that is, very good. Best of all, it's free, and one of the slickest ways to look at you hunting ground.

I'm not really a MicroSoft guy, but MS Live Earth is even better (imo) than Google Earth.   The resolution is *way* better - for most of the places I hunt anyway.

You can try it without downloading anything if you go to  http://maps.live.com/    If you like that, you can find a link on that site to get the local client that will allow you to get a 3D view of stuff.

Couldn't seem to find the "birdseye view".

I also just google the nearest town (Stanley ID) and hit the map button and pan around.  It's a great tool.
