Our lousy ex-governor did away with the lifetime senior consolidated hunting licenses a few years ago but we can get a yearly senior license for $5. Not too bad. We still have to buy the various M/L, archery stamps but it's still a savings.

Happy Birthday, enjoy the day. Personally for me I would have preferred to pay the higher fee forever but that was 6 years ago.

Roy from Pa

Happy Birthday...

In Pa here after age 66 I think it was. I bought a lifetime senior license for a one time fee of around $100.00... Covers all the tags except for a bear tag which is $16.00 a year.

In Bama you can hunt free after 65. I have been hunting free for 3 years now.

Hit the same age on 8/8, Va.has a senior discount on license but the tags are still regular price. Happy Birthday.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

I also get the free license. All I have to buy is a Federal duck stamp if I go after waterfowl.

Happy Birthday and congratulations.  I hope you get to use many years of free licenses.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
