I'm wanting to get some GT arrows for my Palomino, the specs are 62" my DL is 28",hunting tips are Ace Standards 125 Grain, string material is B55.Thinking either 3555 cut to 30" with standard insert weight or maybe the 1535 with the same setup, what's your opinion or advice on this?

Wow,figured someone would have an idea, guess I was wrong.

If you are actually shooting 40# at your DL, I would guess you will need the 15/35's, and leave them full length till you find through tuning that they need to be cut off.

I'm fairly sure that the 35/55 will be too stiff, esp if you cut it down any!

I have a Bear Grizzly 41#@28 that I picked up for my  15 year old son. His arrows are 28"long for a 26"draw. They are the 1535 with 100 gr head. I've tried 145 heads and have seen very little change in arrow flight.

Hope this helps.... I've been watching to see what others say!

God bless,

I agree 3555 stiff.   1535 29.5 with about 175 tip will be close.
