Thanks Mike. I've got an old ebony recurve (the old model) with bacote limbs. It is a bow I'll never sell. I plan to pass it on to one of my nephews. In the mean time I will continue to take critters with it.

I'm still wanting to see what that new recurve limb looks like and how it performs. I heard it is really special.

God bless, Steve

Pa lets hear some more about the longbow limbs.  As it were, I've got the Vyperkahn Jet headed my way...  :)

Mike, I put on of Allen's strings on my VK today & it made it a lot more quiet & the nock fit was perfect for my Tradlites!

I too would like to see pics, as I have ordered my new VK with RC limbs.  I am probably about 20 months out, LOL!

I was thinking about arranging something with Kimba Burrows on the lefty VK 'Jet' he's got on the classifieds.  I just don't know though.  People seem split in their reviews of them, it's either "awesome!" or "overrated!".  Just wonder if I bought it if I would be paying for a name or just the "prestige"-kinda like a Corvette/Porsche: 50-100k/ace performer vs a Bentley: 250-400k/lots of fluff?  Anyone have any thoughts?  That lefty VK Jet is pretty evil looking...
Now I get it!! Haha.  No fluff to the Jet!  Bentley good looks AND Vette/Porsche performance...make that Koenigsegg CCX performance!!  Best risk on a bow I've taken.  :)

They are awesome bows. They might not be the absolute fastest bow as some would say but they are most likely the most accurate and consistent. Now the hardest part is which limbs to shoot!
