So there I was primed and ready to buy a new bow here recently, but without fail my old Tembo never let me down with great shots like this,.... cold, without any warm ups at 20 - 25 yrds. consistently, every evening after work.
Seems the old Tembo is trying to tell me she's not ready to retire just yet, and with consistent shooting like this, id say she's pretty persuasive.
Bottom line......if it aint broke, dont fix it, for sometimes confidence in an old friend is far better than the insecurity of something new... no matter how beautiful it may be.   [/IMG]

I had a simular experience the other night I'm gearing up to buy a new bow too .so I took my bob lee hunter out for a few shots and I had one of those magic nights . Super tight groups shooting from all kinds of odd positions flat on my butt and just sinking them tight together. I was shooting like terry green.
I did make the mistake of making the comment when I walked by my wife and said if I can shoot like that all the time I don't  need a new bow.

How does that old saying go, "Beware of the guy who shoots one bow."  We all like a new bow, but it seldom becomes something magic.

You might want to move the vitals forward on your target some.  A hit that far back is lucky to be liver.  It could be a mistake to teach your brain to shoot that far back.
Good judgement comes from experience.  Experience comes from bad judgement.

I feel the same way about my Super D.  She just FITS me.  No need for another bow.

Unless we are talking a T/D Super D with a few more pounds!
