Just wondering if anyone over shafts them selfs and adds more weight up front to get correct arrow fight aswell as creating a heavyer toatal  arrow weight.

Yep.  Shooting 400 spine with 300 up front to get my weight up out of a 50 lbs. Bow.

It's very common now to do this with Carbons.

Some folks are doing it with Alum. and woodies as well.

I shoot a 400 spine carbon cut to 29.5" with 275 grains out front from a 55# d/r longbow.

Yep, full length 400 spine GT5575s, 225gr tip, 100gr brass insert and 3 X 4" RW feathers. FOC is approx 21%. I like this set up.

most everybody that hunts here as opposed to just target shooting does that. I pretty much have too, I have such a long draw length that I need the stiffer spine then have to front load the hell out of it to fly right and have a decent FOC. I primarily do it with 100gr brass inserts and then 125gr heads, I could just shoot heavy heads and use regular inserts, but like the vast assortment of 125gr heads on the market including bullheads for turkeys.

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!
