I used it over cresting paints, water based Whispering Winds paints.

I use it over my cresting also but i am doing a white cap on a set im building. I dont have a way to do dip a cap so i spray painted some. They look good but i would like a couple more coats of laquer on them.

Spray the paint with water based poly, I do it with cresting and then dip. Unless you just want to try one, it's only one shaft!

I'veused it over dipped paint cresting and worked well.I use it in conjonction with the eco dipper,a very fast way to seal arrows. The only con is that gasket lacquer does not hold well to rain,it's not water resistant,if it is then I must have got a bad batch!!!
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Well it doesnt work over spray paint..guess ill just stick to natural caps

Did you try the water based poly?

m midd

I am going to pick some up today.. I tried spray laquer on 2 it was a bad idea.. I watched my cresting drip on to the floor

you need to use water based with water based. Any spray water based poly should work, let it dry for a few hours, then dip, I do it with the cresting

I thought it may work with spray paint.. I usually use all water based stain and paint.. Ive got some white gasket laquer but i never could get it to lay down good..
