I'll play.  This is my Howard Hill Halfbreed 60@29 and the Carbon Express Heritage 250 I used to kill a nice fatty doe this past season...

One more from 09, a 3x3 Mulie taken opening day with a 56# Morrison Shawnee, also using Goldtip 5575's but with with 2 blade Zwickey single/bevel No Mercy Broadhead and a total tip wt 235gn. with 100 gn steel insert.

Did not hunt this past fall due to wife's health issues so no deer or elk pictures from 2010.

Carbon...the only way to go.

Unless, of course, you have a big stash of aluminums or woods. Then I would use them up and go to carbon.

still think this is the best pic I've seen in awhile,,, worthy of a the best frame money can buy!

anyway,,you just can't beat carbons in the toughness, accuracy and penetration department ALONE!  

woods are still nice but no more having to buy a hundred at a time just to get that perfect dozen..
