A great trad ganger (Jerry Wald). Gave me a great gift from a drawing a half  dozen arrows that are being custom made from one of our sponsors of this site. They will be here in a few weeks. Once I get them I will post pictures.

Well, I got a bunch of Cabellas gift certificates and went yesterday and bought a Lone Wolf hand climber tree stand.

Nice stand but I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of paperwork on how to hook up all the straps.  Isn't really anything there other than some real basic stuff and nothing about the rope, harness, shoulder straps or any of that.  There is a DVD but it won't play in my DVD or my computer.  What's the deal with that????

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Dave you can go to their web site and watch some video on just about all of their products. I bought an Alpha and was trying to back back my mini sticks. No video or instructions for it on line. An e-mail to them and a day later I was ready to go.

A cruise to the Carribean in February, may not be shooting related but will help with my attitude towards winter doldrums.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

My wife conspired with 4runr to provide me with a 1959 Bear Grizzly for Christmas.  This is my first traditional bow, and therefore I am a newbie to the sport and this site.  I am really looking forward to learning and growing in traditional archery.  I have to thank 4runr, and my wife!  This Site is wonderful.  I have learned so much in just a few days.
