Just wondering from those who use gloves, how long do you get out of them??  I know it depends on how much one shoots, but I was wondering the average..
Trust in the Lord with all of thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  Proverbs 3: 5

TOELKE WHIP HS 48 @28, 60"
TOELKE WHIP 50 @ 28, 64"
BROWNING WASP 45 @ 28
BLACK WIDOW PMA III 51 @ 28, 62"

it depends on the leather.  I wore out more than a few in a couple of months.  The one I am using now I bought at the Muzzy Stump Shoot about 3 years ago.  I try not to abuse it much by grabbing rocks and trees.  I hunt on the ground.  Don't get the gloves with the elastic.  When the leather on the fingers loosen the elastic doesn't keep the leather tight on the fingers.  just my opinion.

I use a Damascus glove, and I shoot almost daily. I can use a glove for at least 12 months. I tie all my nock sets. If I used a brass nock set, the glove wouldn't last that long.
Your mileage may vary.

I was going through a deer skin glove once a year. Now shooting a Alaskan Super Glove two years and still going strong ! I have switched to tying nock sets as well.

What's a UR glove 8^)?????  Do you mean "your" glove?  Or is it UR...Ultra Rich.  UR...Unmitigatingly Raunchy.  UR...Ugly Rat.
Inquiring minds want to know.

I usually went through a glove every couple years, but now I'm back shooting a tab.  I would think if you keep one dressed with Snowproof or Mink Oil, it should last several years at least.

I usually lose one before I wear it out.

Right now I'm using one of those Bear Paw damascus gloves. Perfect for my lighter poundage bows. I've had it since March. Holding up well, but I hit it with some saddle soap or pine pitch whenever i'm bored.

I thought I lost it, however, and ended up ordering a Skookum last week.  Then the day it came in I was doing laundry and found the Bear Paw glove in the pocket of my britches. So now I have a backup glove!  I'll have em both lost somewhere by Christmas.

Skookum last me a couple of years the newer ones seem a little better ,

A year or two if lucky. I prefer a Damascus but tried a super glove hoping for longevity. NOT! The Cordovan stalls hold up great but the gloves fall apart along the seams. A glove takes a lot of abuse under regular use. Sweat and the pulling of each shot takes it's toll. I wash my glove a few times a year and keep them oiled up with Montana Pitch Blend and two years is the best I've done.

cnorth,  I do not use a glove anymore, but have 2 that I will send to you if they are your size.  Both are size medium. One is made by alaska bowhunting supply that is leather with cordovan finger overlays and the other is a PSE King leather glove.  Shoot me a PM if they will work for you. By the way, I like your Proverbs pasage that is one to live by.
Take care,
Mark

My big shot glove is going on its 4th year. Still has a lot of use left. I just started thinking about getting another.
