I am heading up to my ranch tomorrow for a church event and there are gonna be lots of kids there. I have several low poundage bows that I am gonna take to try and introduce trad archery to them. I had a bunch of old easton arrows that I fletched up, however I only had plastic vanes. I know I am not gonna see terrific flight regardless, but I wanted to find a quick, easy and do it yourself way to put rests on the bows so they aren't shooting off the shelf with vanes.

Anyone have any ideas for a quick and easy home made stick on rest?

Thanks,
Jethro

Electrical tape and a paperclip?

Mr. Stout posted a perfect post for you a while ago.  He used the plastic clips in large grocery stores that display items like potato chips.  I imagine that if you asked for one of the empty strips, the store clerk will give them to you.  He simply cut them to shape and glued (taped?) them to a riser - pretty good idea if you asked me.

Most Walmarts are open 24/7 so you still have time!  Good luck and I'll pray for your patience with all of those little people!
