Day pack with a side pouch

In Texas we seem to hunt a lot of small to medium size farms and ranches. This seems to push us to elevated stands more often than not. We, or i seem to spend a lot of time with my bow across my legs. With a quiver on my bow it does not balance well. My point being, why does not someone build a day pack with a side pocket you coud slide your 3-4 arrow quiver down into for the walk to the stand? You could then hang your quiver on the stand or tree for quick access. Yes i have tried a cat quiver and they do not seem to have enough room.  L.

I'm not sure I understand the desire to have a pocket in the pack for a quiver but I do understand not wanting to hold the bow the whole time you're in the treestand. To solve this issue I have fasten a bow holder to each of my treestands.

The tubing and the electrical conduit hanger can be bought at Home Depot. The bow holding head can be bought at Cabela's or Dick's. The angled piece of metal is something I have access to at work but I'm sure it can be found at a hardware store or scrap yard.











This is easy to build and keeps the bow, with arrow nocked, in the ready position and within easy reach. You can move the holder assembly between stands or build one for each stand and only move the bow holding head.
