Pulling 50 to 53 lbs/ would Carbon Express 250's with 200 gr. upfront , be to stiff????

They seem to bareshaft perfect but folks keep telling me they should be to stiff?

Am I doing something wrong? Or don't worry about it???
Blessings,
Steve

I would agree as to being stiff but if the bare shaft well then I say go with it, every bow and archer are different :0)

Depends on the bow an ACS CX or one of Fazio's Ballistiks, than I would say no, but in most cases, Yes! Alos if they are full length than maybe not either. I shoot the 150s out of 3 bows betwen 51 and 54#s cut to 29.5"s with 175 up front though. Shawn

I'm pulling the EXACT same as you. I shoot CX150'S with 50 grain brass inserts and 125 grain head my total arrow wt is 531 grains.  I bareshaft tuned and was getting good results. I personally think the Cx 150's are "on the line" for my set up. I have some GT5575 which I think are comparable to your CX250? Anyway I have loaded them up with 250 grain tips and they shoot like darts. I may go back to them. I'm fairly new to trad and initially relied on what the salesman told me I needed. Both have been right as both arras can work but I'm finding I like the heavier arrow for trad and one of the two will give me the "better" sweet spot. I left my CX150's a little long 31" as I intend to tweak them some more after the season. I have some 100 grain brass inserts I'm gonna play with as well.

I agree with Drewsbow....every bow and archer are different.

Yeah, my 250's full shaft with 250 up front seem to fly a little better than my 150's cut down to 30.5.... The 150's show a nock left everytime/ but the 250's shoot like a laser beam/ they are noticably slower but straighter shooting...

Steve it is almost impossible to bareshaft in Trad archery unless ya have a perfect and I mean perfect release, try OL's method. Shawn
