Just like the title asks. I am interested in a nice pair of skins. Anyone that could help point me in the right direction.

There is a guy that goes by alphamale on the *********** that has some.

No help here as it's illegal in MS to buy/sell/trade/barter in animals/animal parts native to the state (except animals with a fur season and/or bounty).

I will point out that some folks won't know what a "canebreak" is.  Around here they are known as timber rattlers, or velvet tails.

Timber rattlers  (canebreak), are in peril here in Kansas. They are protected being a "Species In Need of Conservation " (SINC). I remember a time they were quite common, not any more though.....not here anyways.
They definitely have beautiful skins though.  I see mainly Massasauga here, which are also beautiful but smallish. Good luck, hope you find some.

Check the Bowyers Bench forum, that is where I found some a while ago.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Nice thing about cane break or timber rattlers is if you can only find one skin they can usually be split down the middle and you will get a better matched set. One skin split , half for 1 limb and half for the other.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!

Cane break or timber rattlers are protected in most states. Illegal to possess or kill in TN.

What about other rattlers like Parie?  Not as big of a skin but plentiful

Try Mike Yancey (Sponsor here) of Pine Hollow Longbows. I know he used to have a very wide selection of snake skins.
