I am going to put together a draw board for the house.  Tired of drive 45 minutes to my archery club when I have something I want to check on one of my bows.  Looking for some pictures of what you all have built.

Compound guys use them, basically a winch that draws the bow back to see cam rotation and timing.

I see no reason for one with recurves and longbows

D.Sheppard

Is he referring to a tiller tree ??

I think it is similar like a tiller tree.
Like the pics below.

Trying to get the bow a part of me!

I would think a tillering tree would serve most purposes with a good scale drawing the sting. I'm happy with just my digital scale suspended from a basement joist and a marked arrow, but that would not address any tiller issues.

I wish you were in the KY area.  I built one, still new, just like Trasher's second photo and would give it to you.  I built it this past year to use with my compound and then shortly afterwards sold the compound, and will not be using it.

If for any reason you or a friend may be traveling through here on a vacation, etc., just let me know.

I like to use one to check the draw weight on my traditional bows. Nice to know I am getting the weight marked on the bow at a specific draw length.  It seems my ILF limbs are not always accurate.

Never used a tiller tree but sounds like a similar contraption.

I get it, tillering tree.

Go on the bowyer's bench and ask to see some pictures.  You will get plenty of help.
