Darting Big 5 for sport? And SCI's trophy class for this.
« on: February 08, 2024, 06:24:38 PM »
I just came across a story of an (Wheel Bow Shooter) shooting a rhino with a dart to take hero photos. I believe it was in South Africa, he then goes onto tell how it ranks as #5 in SCI's records for this class. He said he got his inspiration from Jim Shockley's shooting one with a Air Rifle Dart Gun. I don't know maybe I've had my head under a rock but when did this BS start.

It's been going on for years. I saw an article at least ten years ago where they would let hunters shoot the animal (for a price) and vets would check them out (take blood samples etc) and revive.
