My first archery 'lope!!
« on: September 10, 2004, 11:43:00 PM »
Got my first archery goat today!! Spent an hour crawling up a 18" deep wash for 300 yards to get within 30ish yards of a small herd. Hit her a little low and had to do a second sneek to finish her. Used a Mickey/Calvin cane arrow with one of my damascus trades the first shot. The second was a woody and 160gr Griz. I was using my old Bridger Mtn LB, 68@27".
