Kansas Turkeys in 2006
« on: December 18, 2006, 11:37:00 AM »
Took these Toms in KS with the same longbow in 2006. The first was in the spring and the second was this weekend. Hunted with KSBow (Ralph Renfro), Raincrow (Terry Newman) and JohnBow (John Cooke). 60" Longriver "Elk" longbow, 55 lbs.
Cedar arrows I made and Magnus heads. We always have a good time with Ralph and the food at our camp is the best.
The top turkey is 24lb, 10" beard w/1" spurs

The bottom turkey is 23lb, 8" beard and 7/8" spurs.
