Thanks for the kind words, guys.
Undomesticated, this was by far the easiest one I've ever had. The day before and this day were rainy and chilly and I had the most action I've experienced in years. It all just came together perfectly. Only took about 15 years of chasing them with a bow! Glad it was with one I made.  :bigsmyl:

I always wear a glove when hunting.

Walt, on your bow hand?  If so what brand?

The Bowyer's Bench / Band saw blade
« Last post by buckeyebowhunter on Today at 01:46:19 PM »
My lenox tri master just broke for the 3rd time today. I cut a lot of risers and limbs with it, probably 30 bows total. It was a pretty good blade for cutting nasty stuff, but I'm having trouble with the idea of purchasing another at the moment since they're like 160 bucks now. Anyone have any recommendations for something decent at a more economical price?

Great to see you Back Howard, you've been around for over 20 years.

I don't wear a bow hand glove hardly ever. It's got to be pretty cold on a hunt where I have to have my bow hand expose for long periods of time.

You being from GA you know all about the humidity. I use a leather, rubber, or stippling for a sure grip.

BTW, the BowHush CFO is getting married next Saturday, and she's moving to Carrollton.  My mother is from Temple. Take care.

The Shooters FORM Board / Re: Recurve slapping wrist..issue

Improper alignment/form, OR, too low of a brace height.

Check brace height and Form Clock thread above, and possibly get The Bowhunters of Tradgang DVD.

The Shooters FORM Board / Re: no need to hold!! snapshoot away!

"False. All the guys I usually hunt with that are snap shooters are all in control of their shot."

Same answer from me as well. I find it odd that people that hold tell people that don't what they can't do.  Same with aiming, gap shooters claim they know what instinctive shooters see and don't see, and how instinctive shooting is inferior when they can't they themselves can't shoot instinctive. It as comical as a NASCAR driver telling a Formula 1 Driver how to drive.  :readit:
