I recently found this wood.
It's Black Buckeye Burl.
It's my new favorite wood.  :goldtooth:

Pretty sweet!!

What is black buckeye?  I'm familiar with Ohio and yellow. Is black a local name?

I don't know what it is, I just found a supplier for these last month.
Here is a neck knife I made with it too.
