My Massachusetts 8 point
« on: December 09, 2012, 03:26:00 PM »
Shot off the ground at about 15 yards on 11/28/12. Got some chili I made from him stewing now!

Bow was a Black Widow SAX I had made this spring, 54# @ 28". Arrows were 29" 2216's with about 160 grains up front with a zwickey 2 blade and adapter

Nice buck!  Enjoy that chili, nothing like a hot bowl of chili to soothe over the soul after a great hunt.  Plus...from the ground!  Nice man!

Well it was 8pm Eastern time so you're bit late! Served it up to my buddies up at school and it was easily my best batch yet. Time for some steaks when I'm home for break next week   :campfire:
