Jean Louthan Letalis Telum, RH, 57#. - 3

Jean Louthan was an intern and part-time worker at Damon Howatt Archery in Yakima while working on his Education degree. He went on to settle in Hermiston Oregon and taught 4th grade for decades while also making bows as Telum Archery. Louthan was an avid bowhunter and tournament archer, his bows had several  Howatt-like features and in other ways were unique. His 62" Letalis Telum (latin for 'deadly weapon') was his all-around field bow, suitable for hunting or competitive shooting ...if you shoot 57#! This one from the late 1970's has a one-piece shedua riser, white glass limbs (for hunting it would benefit from skins) and holes on the reverse side of the sight window from a sight mount. The hole spacing is standard and perfect for bushings for a snap-on quiver. I bought the bushings and will include with the bow. Winning bidder pays shipping.

More pics. The blunted semi-fan tips , tip wedges and underlays for the string groove are Telum hallarks.
