Bamboo arrows for the heavy bow shooters
« on: July 26, 2012, 08:00:00 AM »
I have some selfmade Bamboo arrows i dont have a bow for anymore. So before they just lay here i thought id give them away.

There is one hook attached though, as i am situated in germany and the shipping is fairly expensive id ask the winner to pay half the shipping (about 20-25$), Sorry. I know this aint best manners but i cant afford to do otherwise right now and hope you dont look down on me because of this.
Anyways i guess its still a good deal if someone can use them.

Its 14 arrows:
Nockgrove to back of tip 30,75"
Spine 95+
145 grain tip with an brassinlet of 30 grain inside to reinforce the tipsection.
sealed with 3 times heavy duty boat-laquer.

Theyve seen about 20 shots each, some less.

2x 5" pink shield, cockfeather 5" purple shield.
Some have black marker stripes on some feathers wich was a marking system for first, second third arrow for tournaments.

black nocks, one nock is missing but ill reinstall it before shipping.

Here are the excact weights in grain:
667
674
680
682
688
691
694
701
702
702
707
711
713
720

and some pics:

Ill draw the winner on August the 5th.

Thanks, Axel

Ive thought about it, and changed the shipping thing, ill pay half the shipping costs.

Those arrows are nearly indestructable, in this heavy a spine they are definately as durbale as carbons.

Axel,

I would appreciate it if you would add me to the list.  I also have been looking to try bamboo but couldn't find shafts heavy enough.  These would work fine.
Thanks.

Please add my name to the list.  They would work great out of my Warbow.

The tips were glued on, but not with epoxy but with the stuff i use for my nocks., they sit pretty firm, honestly, i dont know if its possible to take em off without damage. You would have to try and maybe risk breaking on. Or cut them shorter.
