I know from a "I want to win" perspective the less people involved the better but this is for fun and to show respect to the other 1/2 of our deer herd so please tell others and get more people involved.  It will be much more fun if there are a lot of people hunting the big ole gals and this givaway page does not get the traffic that the "Main Forums" page did last year.
have fun, be safe and thanks for participating.

Bobby,
This will be a lot of fun.  I don't know how my Jersey does will stack up, but I'll post pics and give them the respect they deserve.

Well this was at least 5 pages long by this time last year so any doe can win it.  Last year we did not get a 150lb doe all season so go get them and post up some pics.  I know the season is getting started somewhere?

I would have a better chance killin a 220 in buck than a 150lb doe especially with our drought.

Well we seem to be gaining momentum but please tell others to get involved - this is just for fun and the more participation the better.  There just is not nearly the traffic here as there was on Pow Wow last year.  Thanks everyone and have fun.

IOHKUS - ofcourse!  If you take them legally with trad gear I don't care if you post a doe a day - all season long.  Actually, I encourage it!  I live in Michigan - the land of spikes and does.  I sure would like this to help change the perception.

Growing up my father and grandfather would apply for doe permits just to burn them.  It seems the whole state feels taking a spike is ok but if you shoot a doe you are less than human???

Go get em - and post their weight, even if your first one is your biggest - post them all.

Good luck

Bobby my Dad and his hunting partners did the same thing back when I was a teen hunting up in the Mckinnely area. They drooled over small bucks but wouldnt shoot does... I'm doing my best to correct their mistake one doe at a time.
