Public land question

Im from nj but my daughter moved to columbia. Any public land near there?

Plenty. Patapsco State Park is very close and has several areas within it where you can bowhunt with a permit. The permit is about $35 if I remember correctly. Liberty reservoir is not far and that's a free permit included in your hunting guide you get with your license. Neither is real crowded and both have good deer population. Also, our bow club, Heart Of Maryland Bowhunters is very close as well and right on the edge of Patapsco State Park. Probably within 20 minutes of Columbia. We have a real nice practice range and set up 3D shoots several times a year.
The scent of Autumn is like food to the hunters soul.
