Can anyone recommend overnight accomodations for the State Shoot in or near the shoot location?

Thanks Andy

Major Archer, there are several places in the Barnesville, GA area and the Thomaston, GA area. Both of these towns are located near the shoot location. Griffin, GA is also within an easy drive. I personally have never stayed at any of these hotels/motels, but if it was my decision to make, I would go with the Jameson Inn in Thomaston.

You could also stay in Macon, GA or Forsyth, GA and still be pretty close.

Looking forward to meeting you Andy. Look me up. I will be near the registration table. Also, make plans to join us for the Potluck Supper on Saturday evening. Lots of good dutch oven cooking going on for that!

Jeff and I really enjoyed the shoot and the pot luck supper. We can appreciate the hard work that goes into organizing and setting up a quality event. Cudo's to all that put in the time and effort. Come to Florida for our Fall Shoot if you can stand the heat and bugs.

Andy and Jeff.
