I'm sure some of you have figured out good ways of attaching the Catquiver mini to a pack of your choice.
I'd love to see some pics and here some ideas of good attachment options. I have a lumbar pack with shoulder straps and would like to attach my Mini to it, but haven't figure out any great ways yet.
Let's hear and see your ideas - thanks!
Hmmm... Mini Catquiver, you have photo, please?
It's the Cat quiver "Mini" ...no pack with it, just the regular Cat Quiver.
I love mine. I would have to say that having the aluminum bar running from end to end pretty much makes attaching it to anything limitless. Drill holes through and c-clip it on would be one way. You can also use leather thongs to hold it in place. Which also make it easy to remove and quiet. You could sew it on and make it permanent if wanted. Dozens of attachment options I can think of.
I can't find a picture, but I've seen guys just zip tie it to their pack, easily removable if necessary.
My sons bison pack had a small buckle loop at the bottom of the pack on the right side we used that for the lower attachment. Then just used some parachute cord at the top at a attachment spot to strap on other gear like jacket or sleeping pad. Worked great as a matter of fact I didn't get my mini back after the hunt hummmm. Didn't think to get picture.
Take a look at the cat quiver 6.5 That should give, you an idea.
An idea. I have the cat 7 the full pack version of the 6.5. It uses small cord attachments like shoe strings. What if you just made small holes in pack about one inch apart at top middle and bottom of pack. Then fed shoe string evenly into holes for tying on mini. If you sow small patch in middle of shoe string at the attachment locations that would be sweetest and strongest method no holes to maybe let water in.
I just zip tie my mini cat to a day pack, I can take pics later if needed but to me it works excellent and gives you your choice of packs..
You could use those rubber twist ties to attach it to the pack. Easy on easy off. If you leave the twist ties on the pack you can use them to haul other gear like a hatchet, machete or even your coat for when you get hot hiking in an out.
