I have never owned a bow built with osage. I can now cross that off of my bucket list. Traded for this bow.. The bow came with 2 sets of limbs, both are osage and backed with something else.. One set is #41@28, the other is #54@28. You can notice how one set is a little darker than the other. The first set(#54@28) were built in 2010(original bow), the second set(#41@28) was built in 2013. This is probably one of the nicest bows I have ever owned.
My only concern is that the bow is 56" and I have a little longer draw. I did shoot the #41 limbs and wow, was it smooth! I am sure the #54 limbs will feel as if they stack worse.
I will try to trade them off or something to that extent.(if you have some 60" limbs you would want to trade, let me know!)
It also came with a weird quiver. haha. It is completely bone and wood.
Enjoy.

nice Bow congrats
I love the quiver. That's just awesome. The bow is cool too but that quiver is some kind of cool. I may have to try to DIY something similar.
Nice! Love the osage!
Good lookin' stick! That quiver is very unique!
Bisch
Nice bow . Bet the 54lb limbs shoot as smooth as the others. Would make a great predator calling bow.
I like the grain of the 54lb limbs. Nice
Nice looking bow!! With the PCH riser I bet the 54# limbs draw and shoot as smooth as the 41# limbs. I love my PCH, I really love the look of osage as it starts darken down. That quiver is something else I bet it looks really colon the bow. Congrats on a great trade and happy shooting.
Congrats Daniel...fine looking bow. Actually those 54# limbs look a bit like Yew in the pics. Sharp rig!
It looks like a really nice setup you got!

Rob,
the limbs say "osage orange" on both sets. I don't know much about woods. lol. I just know they shoot well. :)
Daniel, nice..!!!
Your string elbow is to high, should be level or a little lower, you can see the way it looks, like your ring finger is going to come off last. Doesn't look like a pinch problem though.
Nice bow, good luck with it.
Congrats Danny!
BW are awesome bows and you got a very nice one congrats.
A friend of mine had a BW (can not remember which model) that was 56" and I draw about 29". It started to come to the wall at about 28.5" to 28.75" for me.
Nice looking bow, the quiver looks to be a custom Cherokee Slim quiver and I noticed the name on the limb is the same. Maybe it was his personal bow and quiver that he made for it.

I do appreciate the comments. I think this is one of those, "don't fix what aint broken" moments. I have zero complaints about accuracy. Now, if holding my elbow lowere will make the deer show up better, i will drop it all the way down to my waist! :)

it is one of his quivers. I got the bow from him. He is a good guy to deal with!
Well, it has been confirmed.. I am going to sell the bow. It is too short. I can really feel it with the heavier limb. Wish it would have worked out, but I knew the risk when I got it.
Very nice. Gotta love the way Osage darkens over time
Good looking bow Daniel..... and quiver!!!
That quiver is too cool thats a nice rig you got.
I love the quiver! How do I contact this guy..?
