Someone should jump on this. I have done it many times and had a blast every single trip.

UPDATE 4/26/16: One of the guys in our group has a family commitment that prevents him from going.
We have booked a hunt for Sitka Blacktail Deer on Kodiak Island with Homer Ocean Charters for late November 2016 (Nov 26- Dec 3). We now have a spot for 1 bowhunter (6 total on the boat) and would like to fill the spot with a Trad bowhunter if possible. Cost to Homer Ocean is $4k which includes the float plane to and from the boat. I bought roundtrip airline tickets from Denver for $895. Deer tag is $150. They had another mild winter so the hunting should be good. PM me for more information. thanks, Jim
