Title: "Reactivating" G5 Blu Glu
Post by: APN on December 04, 2015, 08:09:00 PM
Hey everyone!

I have some G5 Blu Glu that's been sitting around a while and has become "gooey". I tried suing it to fletch an arrow, but it's just not liquid enough. I tried warming it in hot water for about an hour, no luck. Outside of buying a new bottle (which is surprisingly hard to find here in Los Angeles) is there any way to get it back to it's original viscosity?

On an aside, I went to the local hardware store and got Gorilla Glue - it would not adhere to my eze-crest wraps.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Always used Fletchtight with good results.

Available everywhere and not expensive.

For wraps I use gel super glue.  It's what the wrap maker recommends.

Been using Gorilla Glue Instant Glue for fletching and it has worked superbly....not the brown stuff...this is clear liquid that I buy cheap at the craft store.
