Title: Oil
Post by: stickandstring on December 03, 2015, 07:34:00 PM
Bought from Screaming Eagle about 20 years ago, EasY Care by Mountain View Sports. This lubricant has a "non spooking" pine smell. Anyhow, cant find anything on MVS. Any suggestions or other recommendation?

It comes in a spray can and found in the baking section at your grocery store - can with say, "PAM"

or, if you are cheap like me there will be an off brand version right next to it.

Oil for what? Bows?

I use beeswax/mineral oil wood polish that I make myself.

This might work for you its a multipurpose natural lube with a good strong pine smell.

If it was the stuff in a small plastic container it was probably "Montana Pitch Blend".  Soft, waxy with pine scent.  Used to waterproof boots but could be used as a lubricant as well.  Don't know of anyone selling it these days.

Thanks everybody for your input. Wish Screaming Eagle was still around. They sold the neatest products.
