Title: Who needs a bow
Post by: T Sunstone on November 30, 2015, 06:51:00 PM
Took Mickey out around my house to chase a rabbit.  Do this a couple times a week and end up with a couple rabbits a year usually.  One house has a few acres fenced in with chain link and Mickeys was running a rabbit between the corn field and the fence with I heard the rabbit squeal.  Ran over and found Mickey carrying the rabbit all proud.  Must have got caught in the fence.  He caught 1 a few years ago that tried to hide under some lumber.

This year he's got me.  I've missed about 10 shots but most were mach 5 speed.

nothing better then a beagle and rabbits. Had beagles for almost 40 years all my dogs have passed from old age and there's hardly any place to hunt them around here anymore so doubt if I will ever have anymore..sure do miss hearing them run though.
