After a long while of claiming to shoot longbows best, and imagining all of the perceived negatives of shooting a recurve bow, I'm eating those words every time I shoot my BW PCH IV. I like it so much in fact that I'm selling my PL II to buy another PCH. It turns out I like shooting all kinds of bows, which is bad news for my bank account. The lesson being, don't paint yourself into corner when it comes to bow design.

Depends where you are on your journey! I have been thru all sorts of bows, and I am now in a very happy ace with just one. That is not to say I never shoot any others, but I hooked pretty solid on the one!
Have fun with your recurve!

I have been shooting a stick bow exclusively since early 2007 and have bought, sold and traded many, many bows. Shorter, heavier bows are my preference for hunting and slightly lighter bows for targets. PCH is puzzling me; short and fast (for hunting), fairly light (51#) and very accurate for target shooting, and I don't really like recurves? I doubt this will be my last bow EVER, but rest assured I'm having fun with any (stick) bow in my hand.
