I picked up some glue on tree sharks from Simmons to try out for next year. I also picked up some long 25 gr adapters to use for them. They are 5/16 in size and slightly recess into the ferrel of the Tree shark. Is this going to cause problems when I go to glue them in? Without glue, there is a little bit of wiggle to them which concerns me the most.
I don't know if I should have gone with the 11/32 sized adapters, but thought they'd be too large of diameter.
Thanks for your input!

Could be some glue residue inside the point ferrules that cause the little bit of wiggle. If the adaptors fit all the way into the ferrule, they should not wiggle. If they're too long, may need to clip them off or go to a shorter adaptor. I think they'll work though.
5/16 adaptors provide another advantage if used on 5/16 inch shafts and 11/32 broad head ferrules. The broad head ferrule will encase the leading edge of the arrow shaft, making it just about impossible to mushroom the shaft on hits on things like rocks and trees.

Thanks Orion,
I never thought about the encasing the leading edge.... I will check out the ferrules for any foreign objects in them before the gluing process.
Thanks again!
Good luck, shoot straight and God bless,
