Title: Dressing up a Bob Lee Signature Recurve
Post by: perry f. on November 27, 2015, 05:37:00 PM
I've got a 58", 60@28" Bob Lee signature takedown recurve. Been thinking of dressing it up some. Skins? Antler burr bolts? Limb bolt quiver? I'd be interested in seeing some that have been customized.    (http://i1301.photobucket.com/albums/ag113/pfraze2/C96BD20B-52BC-48A4-BD0D-D98A3D655FAD_zpsouzlvbqy.jpg) (http://s1301.photobucket.com/user/pfraze2/media/C96BD20B-52BC-48A4-BD0D-D98A3D655FAD_zpsouzlvbqy.jpg.html)
Thanks!

Well, I think its gorgeous now! However, if it were mine....
I would  use brass bezels for the limb bolts, musk rat skin silencers. Mink skin for rest ( hard to get ) a Great Northern STRAP ON quiver so I could remove it and enjoy looking at that puppy while in my treestand! But, that's just me.  :)

I recently had Big Jim customize my 68" Bob Lee Heavyweight longbow and he did an absolutely phenomenal job refinishing the bow, adding a beavertail grip and a set of amazing Texas Ratsnake skins.  Big Jim's the man!
