We are always looking for ways to have just what everyone is looking for. Adding options as often as we can.
History: When we took over St Joe River Bows we had just the Classic longbow and recurve. That first year we added Otter youth bows so we could help get the kids involved. Next came the Torrent recurve a shorter more maneuverable bow great for blinds. Next came the 2 pc Takedown featuring the Bow Bolt which is still available. A year ago we introduced the Torrent longbow to complement the Torrent recurve. This shorter longbow featured the same riser as the Torrent recurve, and is available in 56" to 60" lengths
So what have we done now? Some longbow guys did not like the weight that the Bow Bolt takedown system added to their bows. As of today (Drumroll please!) we are now offering another option for 2 pc. takedowns. It is the Bow Latch by Ace Archery. It is a connexion hinge system.
Wonder what is next? You will have wait and see. ;) We always have something up our sleeves.

Awesome!!!! As of late, I think I really need a 2pc bow for travel and because I tend to keep a bow in the vehicle at all times.
Word of the wise, make sure to use Titanium screws! SS will break far too often.

Yep we are, Plus there are a couple modifications made to these ones that Bob now makes that will make the system a bit stronger also. Thanks for the tip though Steve
That looks pretty neat. I will have to check that out at Denton Hill next year. I love my bowbolt and actually prefer the added weight. This could be interesting though.

Gary the Bow Bolt is a great system, but not for everyone we just add something new as we can to have something for everyone. See you at ETAR.
Very cool to see the old hinge system made better, and on some of the best bows money can buy!!!!
Oh boy....I'll be checking this out for sure. Interesting to see how a St. Joe feels with a grip too. I don't usually put them on mine. I think this is an improvement to the bolt system. Nothing wrong with the bolt really, I just think this looks better aesthetically and is more convenient.
Very nice!
If it has a locator grip, which looks like it does...I need to shoot one of these.
Irv
Wonderful addition to an already excellent lineup.
Nicely done Dave and Tracy.

Irv we have not done one with a locator grip yet but we could. :bigsmyl:
Both of these two have the Standard St Joe style grip. The Grey one is actually sold and going to Idaho. It was a custom order.

Looks great David...I love the bow bolt but it does require good hand strength to assemble and disassemble when they fit tight and solid as needed. :) Glad to see they have upgraded and improved the connexion system. Always liked it on Robertson's.
Great job!!
unless your ready to buy don't shoot one because you won't be able to put it down. Best shooting bow I've ever shot. :clapper:
I have been eyeballing the recurves of late. I guess it is offered in takedown as well? RC

Yes we can do a recurve with either the Hinge or the Bow Bolt.
We have a bow bolt reurve listed for sale on our website.
