Title: arrow saw?

Anyone have the one BigJim sells?If so does it work on aluminum shafts?Not a bad price.Any pros or cons?

I had a similar one, it worked and would cut aluminum just fine but it doesn't compare to a real arrow saw in my opinion. The Weston is pretty affordable and comes with dust collection attachment for your shop vac to hook up too. There was a big thread recently on saws, I'll see if I can find it for you.

I have one of the 2" cut off saws that Big Jim sells. I have been cutting carbon shafts and 2216 aluminum shafts for footings with it. It has been working well for me. I have used it to cut 3-4 dozen carbon shafts and the footings for them so far.   I can see how a real arrow saw with a table and length stop would be even better.
