I realize Robertson isn't making this hybrid longbow anymore, but I know there are a few out there. I've searched quite a bit and come across some old posts, but would love to see more. Anyone shooting one of these bows? Let's see/hear about it! Also, does anyone have the Fatal Styk limbs in addition to the Raven? How do they compare? Lastly, anyone know why they quite making them? Thanks
Wow, are these bows as rare as they seem to be?
Is that a good thing or not from an owners perspective?
Hmmmm....
They are a really good thing. I have a 64" 49@28 that is a excellent shooter. Most people really like the Robertson grip. If it's in your specs I'd recommend it...Tom.
Hey thanks Tom. I too like the Robertson grip. Have you shot the Fatal Styk? How do the Raven Styk limbs compare? Any idea why they stopped making them?
Happy Thanksgiving!
Its the same riser as the Fatal Styk, I bet Dick would make you a set of limbs for your riser.
I have two ravenstyks and several fatal styks . The ravenstyks are my go to bows absolutely love them but Dick won't make these limbs any more I was told they were to hard to get to weight. The fatal styk limbs are faster but the raven styk is quieter and quick enough.
tradlab, do you just swap limbs out or do you have seperate risers for your Fatal and Raven Styks? Any pics?
Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!
i just swap limbs out as the risers are the same.Im not sure if i have any pictures except with animals I've taken with it .Are you interested in pictures of the strung bow profile ?
Here is a Googled TG link to a previous Raven Styk post 2013 and there is a picture. ;)

I was hoping to see some pictures show up here. Sweet looking bows!
Thanks pinky! Yeah, those a beauties!
I wonder how many Robertson made - there sure don't seem to be a lot of them around.
The Raven Styke arrived today and I'm quite pleased. As a Robertson bow, the finish is excellent, the grip fits like a glove and overall appearance is great. I strung it up with the string provided by the previous owner and without spending much time tinkering I shot a few arrows through it. Seems like the brace height was a little high and the nock point a little low. I was getting some porposing with my arrows and a bit of noise with the shot, but I'll put some more time in tuning and finding the right combination. Anyways, here it is:
