Do you prefer a thin or thicker handle on your Longbow?

Would believe that the actual size of your hand could be a significant factor.

I have fairly large hands, hence I like a larger grip. I have a difficult time shooting thin grips, seems almost impossible to get a consistent/ repeatable grip but that may just be me.

  Don't really know. Bought a bow I could afford. Handle seems big, but I enjoy it (maybe because it is different than my wheel bow I had been shooting). I don't know anyone else shooting trad so I really don't have anything  to compare it to. Not to mention it would have to be a lefty.

I have larger hands and make my ASL handles accordingly, BUT, on recurve or "full riser style bows I definitely prefer a thinner grip.

I had two P. Predator bows.  One had a thinner grip ( the throat or part that the thumb and pointer finger goes around) and the other was noticeably larger.  I LOVED the first and really was not thrilled with the second.

Now.... I don't grab the bow, I hold it with the top two fingers, and "hold" really means form a loop so I don't lose it upon release.

But..... it all falls to whatever you like.  Problem being, if you have never compared, how would you know ?

Love the feel of thin but strangely I tend to shoot better with thick. Probably less chance of movement, but that's just me.

my buddy is 6`8 and has hands like a professional basketball player and he prefers thin straight grips.

smaller, low wrist grips seem to be best for me
