Title: Reducing a bows draw weight?
Post by: Brian P. on November 18, 2015, 05:54:00 PM
I know it can be done to an extent. Usually just a few pounds which is all I am looking for. My dilemma  is that I have an Assenheimer recurve that is 53# and I would really like it to be 50#. Don is no longer making bows so he can't remove the weight. Does any one know of a Bowyer that  would be willing to  reduce the weight on a bow made by another bowyer? Any ideas would be great.
