Because I don't think it's fair when a broad head hits a rock to potentially misrepresent the broadheads integrity .....( not that the original poster meant to on purpose)
some people didn't even read the thread and thought that the shoulder of an animal did it and some people recommended that a certain type of single bevel broad head wouldn't have had the same effect ......
well to be fair then I would have had to post a very well known single bevel broadhead that also bent like an Elf's shoe on a rock as well ......
it does no purpose to diminish a company or companies by hitting objects not meant for to be hit my broadheads.....
Broadheads are not anvils.
Thanks for your understanding.
:campfire:
Terry,
I agree! But I can still see and read the thread :dunno:
Or is there 2 of them running currently?
Yep, it's still up. I thought the same thing Terry.
Cool, Terry. Thanks for all you do!
Jake
Perfect!
Nice to offer an explanation, Terry! Fair play is fair play...
Some tout their type heads shoot cinder blocks..well, yippie kayeee... I don't care about cinder block penetration... but it's helpful to see what happens under adverse circumstances...
Reality is that anything made by man can fail once (or 2x) but that doesn't denigrate the product's integrity on the long haul!
Good move, although I've not read the thread...
Nice to share motivations regardless... helps others accept me thinks...
That is fair to the broadhead manufacturer. I try not to shoot things with broadheads that I'll not eat, and my fillings won't tolerate cinder block stew.
My post was still here so I deleted the content from my end.
Thanks!!
Must have been a "sponsor's" broadhead.
I do not understand what being a sponsor would have to do with it. No it was not one of mine. I just don't understand that remark.

Always a comment or thought these days!!
Or maybe it's the fact that an honest and good company was getting negative publicity on a well known site. especially when that was not the posters intentions at all.
I think that was the best move there Terry. Good work

You were right to do that, Terry.
Well done boss man !!
2 thumbs up!
I actually thought the tread was kind of funny and light hearted.
I must have missed the thread, but don't see much use in posting about a broadhead that bent when it hit a rock, or a bow limb that broke after being slammed in a truck door, or....
Now if the broadhead was fine after being shot into a rock, or if the bow limb broke the truck door instead, then that might be worth writing about!

Yes and guess what ......the comment and the picture I would show of another bent broadhead was also of a sponsor ....so don't bring sponsors into this in my decision thank you...... you know what they say about assumptions
Obviously your comment shows that you have a biased against me or some type of agenda against trad gang because you have no clue what you're talking about..... but you sure were quick to criticize and ridicule me and my decision without any info whatsoever........ just another armchair quarterback who didn't even watch the damn game
Oh .....and by the way ....if someone agrees with me that does not make them a 'yes man'... that's an offensive remark and disrespectful.... you must have a biased as well. So leave those who are like-minded alone and keep them out of my decisions would you please.... or find another site to post on there's plenty of those sites that allow cheap shot artist posts.
Want to go against me??
I will defend the membership of this site that actually get it until the end.
If you have a problem with anything that I have said why don't you just email me instead of posting
Wow.
Glad you clarified I thought it was bone that damaged the head. Rock makes sense it can damage the hardest of heads. Get it broadheads/persons head.
Good call Terry.
I thought the pic was kind of cool. That's why I enjoy the steel target novelty shoots, lol.
And I still shoot his broadheads....
With the rock paper scissors game, even scissors are no competition for a rock. It does not mean a head is not deadly on game, just because it is not deadly on rocks. I have not found one yet could tolerate granite, don't need to either..
I saw and read the post earlier today. The OP had absolutely no harsh words towards the broadhead at all. However, others did seem to chime in with the old, " That wouldn't happen with a 'fill in the blank' head."
I say good choice on your part to remove it, Terry. It seemed to take a turn that wasn't the OP's intent. And I am the farthest thing in the world from a "yes man." But right is right and fair is fair. Way to keep an even playing field.
Sounds good to me. People don't read the whole thread, and before you know it whatever it is might be getting a lot of bad press.
And especially don't post anonymously :saywhat:
I saw the post about other heads and thought they were joking, tongue-in-cheek. I don't really think that people would think less of a broadhead that curled on a rock but you never know. It really doesn't matter to me at all that the thread was pulled. Not going to help my hunting one way or another.
Evidently....people don't read....I too didn't think the original poster meant any harm....it was the following posts....many folks should pay attention on BOTH ends PDK!!!
UNBELIEVABLE THAT I HAVE TO KEEP EXPLAINING MYSELF OVER AND OVER!!!
