whether any of you have a glove of cordovan leather? And where did you buy it
Thanks :-)
They are hard to find now since cordovan is scarce.
I have one named the Super Glove and I got it from Alaska Bowhunting supply. It is made of deer skin with thick cordovan leather finger tips. Shooting with it for 5 years now and it is the only glove I use. The deer skin is getting worn, the cordovan tips however will last for ever and just gets slicker with use. Great glove and worth paying the extra for the cordovan.
Bearpaw deer skin
Best glove I've ever owned or used.
Get them through kustom king. Perfect

Not a higher quality glove out there and top shelf full cordovan. If you like a Hill style glove anyway.
Kustom king.........Ray
E.W. Bateman times 2. I've shot mine for years and it's still great. I heard rumors a while back that he was going to retire. I sure hope not.
The two cordovan gloves I have came from the Alaskan Bowhunting Company.
Daren, me too...
I have a couple put back and the original one is like 30 yrs old and still going strong...few repairs to the deerskin strap, due to sweat and such at summer "shoots" causing undo stress, but I wish they were still available... they do well and last!
I'm not sure if Bateman is still in business, I've tried calling there today several times and no answer. I sure hope they are still in business.
had one years ago, and loved it.... and promptly lost it lol..
a buddy made me one this year. I'm back in the chips!
I thought Ed at ABS had them made at Berlin or something that sounds like that..., perhaps you're speaking of something else I'm not familiar with or related to the last couple Super Glove ABS posts?
if so, mia copa! Pardone!
E.W. Bateman for sure. Hard to beat their cordovan tabs or gloves. To my knowledge they are still in business. Could be busy making gloves. They do a lot of work by hand.
I tried calling Bateman again today several times, no answer.
The two gloves I have also came from Alaskan Bowhunting Supply. I understand they are no longer available. The second glove is still brand new. the elastic wristband failed after several years on the first glove and I replaced it. The glove's cordovan finger tips are better than new.
I have in the meantime switched to a Bateman tab, left-handed, with Cordovan and a soft leather backing. I had to trim it down to the bare minimum length to avoid getting my lip slapped, but once I reached the proper length it is my favorite. I still use the glove when shooting right handed. For me, Cordovan is the only way to go. Slick, lasts forever, and I get as clean or cleaner release than with any other material I've ever tried.
Well I called Bateman again today and got my order placed, they had internet/phone problems last week for 3 days.
