Has anyone here had experience with the Fox "Breed" bow? Stories, pics and opinions appreciated!

I've pretty much shot every 50's style out there. IMO the Fox Breed is the best of the best. Fast, quiet, smooth with a great grip. I had a 62" 2pc with bamboo core limbs (Ron King built). I recommend the take down with the extra mass in the handle. The 62" opened up to my 31" draw with ease. Ron has great wood selections and his finish is tough. Of all the bows I've sold I regret selling my Breed more than any other. The ultimate two piece backpack bow.
I have to agree with Bryan, I sure regret selling mine. Great bow.

I agree with my friends Bryan and Kevin. I still have a Breed takedown. I have owned and shot many other recurves, but am almost exclusively a longbow shooter. The Breed is the only recurve I own or need. It has a low grip, nice riser mass, is extremely smooth to draw, and has good speed.
I bought a Fox Breed at Cloverdale back in 1994, directly from Ron Fox when he owned the business. The bow was very well made and the craftsmanship was top notch. I believe the bow was 56" or 58". Maybe a little short for my 30.5" draw length, but the bow was smooth the whole way back and shot really well. I killed a couple deer with it and ended up selling it when I went 'all-longbow'. Great little bow and Ron Fox and his wife were real nice people.
I have a fox Breed Built by Ron Fox. It is 58#@28 and only 58" tip to tip. It is a sleeved T/D and my favourite recurve in the collection. I love everything about it how it shoots and the weight and feel in the hand. I also have a Royal Crown built by Ron King and I think it wouldn't matter if you picked up one of the older ones or a new one you will be happy with it.
I had a 62" Breed once. It was both the quietest and fastest bow I've ever shot. Quality is top notch and Ron is a great guy. Sold mine because it got to be to heavy. Will always regret that.
I had a awesome little 52" Breed, 3 days after I received it from Ron King I shot my first buck with it. After that I took several more deer with it. It was a beautiful little bow and shot flawlessly. I sold it to Clinton for his son. It got to be to much weight for me. I wouldn't say I regret selling it because I know it went to a good home but I miss that bow!

I'm with Echo62. Had to sell mine for the same reason. Great bow! Ron and Debbie King are awesome folks, too.
I just received a Maverick, and as mentioned the Kings are great people. The Maverick is exactly what I wanted, and then some. Beautiful, fast enough, and very very quiet.
Owned a Breed and lost it due to my stupidity. It was a terrific bow, and very fast
