Good afternoon all. Here is the buck I shot from last week:

I shot a deer Thursday Oct. 29th, 2015 @ 8a.m. I Had my 2 dimensional decoy out and it did not like it and it swung by my stand at 12 yards broadside. I hit it and got a pass through, but only hit one lung and had minimal blood. I ended up tracking it for about a 1/2 mile and was going on instinct and stressed steps here and there. This was my second most difficult tracking job, and I almost gave up, but something in my gut told me to keep looking. I went through many highs and lows and second guesses of shot. It took me 3 hours of tracking. I am glad I got a deer and his body is nice and long, certainly not a jumbo buck, but he will taste mighty fine.
My bow is a HolmMade Riverrunner Recurve.
Handsome deer! Way to stay after it!
Congrats sir....

Out standing effort and a nice buck.
Well done!
Congrats on a well deserved trophy. There's a lot of hunters out there that could use a little of your drive and determination.
Good kill. Glad you found him.
Thank you everyone. It certainly was a roller coaster of emotions. There were times i felt like giving up but i knew it was a lethal hit. So to give up would in my mind make me a shooter and not a hunter. So with all my ethics back in line i pursued my hunches and found blood.
Nice! Congrats on the fine animal.
Randy
Great job Brother!
Congratulations!! The extra effort you put into tracking this buck will make it a hunt to remember for many years to come. Well done!

Thanks for the upbeat responses. This traditional world is so different than the other. There is a comradery that i eemember existed back in the 80's when i was a young man.
May we all impact our world positively!
Way to go. Nice buck.
