I had a job opportunity fall into my lap at a different company. The hours are more conducive to hunting evenings after work. It'll help a little this year but it will really open things up for next year.
Life is good!
My son just relocated to Boyertown, Pa. I helped him move from San Diego this past week. Seeing all those deer woods I can understand your joy. Hopefully he (and I ) can share that joy next year.
I had an interview last week for a job that will give me weekends off and eve off. Ive been working weekends for 20 yrs.
That's cool. I was just thinking about how hard it is for me to even get a few minutes to keep my shooting sharp at this time of year; it's tough to get home from work before it's already dark.
love it..
congrats!
Congrats
Well soon after the first of the year I am going to retire for the second time. This time for good. looking forward to the extra time in the woods.
Good for you! More time hunting is always a good thing!
Bisch
Congrats!
It's important to work hard, but when you step back and look at the big picture, what's the point of making a bunch of money if you don't take time to enjoy it? :dunno:
You have to find that balance, and IMHO, after faith and family, hunting weighs pretty heavily!
Good stuff, and happy hunting!
Nice! Good luck in your new job and your extra hunting time. I just kind of lost my job and I felt pretty down for a bit. Then I got offered another job that pays more with less hours.
Congrats on the new job, hope it works out for you, and good luck this year.
Congrats again. Looking forward to hunting with you!
Good luck with the new job, more hunting time is always a good thing!
Thanks guys. I'm really looking forward to the new opportunity and the hunting benefit that comes with it. I also found out that I can shoot my bow at work. During lunch of course, but what a bonus!
I've been laid off for the last three months and have all day every day to hunt. Hardly been in the woods at all. Really feel like crap.
I have two interviews next week. Hopefully one of them will turn into a job.
Then I'll be wishing I had time to hunt. LOL
