Well this is my second deer shooting traditional archery for the last 6 years and I'm pretty tickled.
I had pictures of him on the trail cam a week ago kicking a real nice ten pointer's butt. I couldn't believe it when he stepped out tonight at 15 yards. I shot him with the new Striker bow that Rick and Dusty Ellis built for me this year. So I'm proud of a great deer

Thanks guys, I couldn't believe it when the arrow hit it's mark tonight and disappeared. It ran about 60 yards and piled up right on the lane you can see behind me. No tracking No dragging.

Hey Kleine thats a dandy ; congrats man . I am waiting on one that looks alot like that one you shot . Could be some of the same blood line being we are only bout 11 miles apart .

The arrow was a little higher than I wanted at first but there was pretty good angle, and he piled in about 10 or 15 seconds. I had a pretty good double lung shot I believe.

At 15 yds. and say you were 18ft or so up not a bad entry spot. Well done pal he's a beast. :thumbsup:

Thanks all you guys it means a lot. I still got my fall turkey tag and I've been seeing a ton of toms coming to the same spot, so its time to set up the double bull and my two week vacation is about to start. Again thanks for the compliments.

Wow, Rick, that's an awesome buck! Like the looks of the Striker bow too. Nothing like watching the fletching disappear in the side of one like that!

He looks a lot like one FAV 52 and I chased out of a cornfield a few years ago. I haven't had much time to hunt this fall...no shots yet. All I've had even close have been does, which I would happily put in the freezer if they would just cooperate like your buck did!

That's a beauty! Dark antlers like that are pretty uncommon in my area just northwest of you. I wish we had more cedars! Congratulations on a really nice buck.

If that Spirit bow of yours would have been just a few pounds lighter, it would never have left my stable.
