Anyone bought one, or had a chance to test drive one?
I love the originals,  really itching to pull the trigger on one of the new remakes.

I see you are from Ashland, Ky. Fivebears.  I was born, raised, grew up, graduated from Marshall and darn near everything else in South Point.  Of course I spent most of that time in Huntington.  I live in Houston now and my friends tell me about what's going on back home.  Doesn't sound like it's improving much.

Anyway, what year is that Kodiak?  Are they making new ones in that BLACK finish like yours?  I'd love to have one as pretty as yours is.  I might be afraid to take it out though.

Have a new one and an original.The new one is smooth and quick shooting.Really a gorgeous bow.You won't be disappointed.Bear did a great job on the bow.

I bought a 60" 40# one from Big Jim last spring. It's a sweet shooter and I love the grip especially. It is not as quiet as I would like it to be, I need to work on that. I replaced the factory D97 string with my own BCY-X and it was like installing a turbocharger on the bow. Not sure I will hunt anything other than foam animals with it, my Desert Bighorn is still my favorite for hunting live animals.
